During his official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc visited Gallery 11/07/95 today. The Turkish Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ahmed Yildiz and General Manager of Anadolu Agency Kemal Ozruk accompanied him. Tarik Samarah, photographer and author of the “Srebrenica” permanent exhibition, guided Mr. Arinc through the Gallery. On that occasion, Samarah presented a “Srebrenica Flower” and the “Srebrenica” monograph to Turkish Prime Minister. At the end of his visit, Mr. Arinc reiterated support for the work of Gallery 11/07/95, and stressed the importance of existence of this institution. Moreover, Mr. Arinc said that Srebrenica was the sore point in history towards which the Turkish people, and he himself, have special sympathy.
