Representatives of various ethnic groups from 18 municipalities in BiH visited the Gallery 11/07/95

Marking the 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, representatives of 18 Bosnian municipalities visited Gallery 11/07/95. Visitors came from Bratunac, Glamoč, Prijedor, Bosanska Krupa, Sokolac, Teočak, Kladanj, Vlasenica, Novi Grad, Gradačac, Doboj, Mostar, Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje, and many other places.

Symbolically entitled “We need to know”, the visit was organized as part of the PRO-Budućnost project. Majda Beram-Stojanov, project director, said that this visit shows that, irrespective of ethnicity, we are all ready to sympathize with the pain and tragedy of those who suffered the most, not necessarily members of our own ethnic group; visits like this initiate positive changes, for the sake of the future of our children.
