As a part of his official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina Didier Reynders, the Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs, visited Gallery 11/07/95. The delegation from Belgium led by Minister Reynders passed through the Gallery and watched documentary about the genocide in Srebrenica. Tarik Samarah, photographer and founder of the Gallery, guided the delegation through the exhibition. After the visit the Minister said:
“Photographs are very distressing. I’ve already heard about Srebrenica. We watched a lot of movies and reportages, I have seen a lot of articles, I have a lot of information. I’m here to see a gallery and photographs which are important because they are preserving the memory of the genocide that took place in Srebrenica 20 years ago.”
